The charts below give information about the people who use public libraries and the main reasons to visit in Britain in 1991 and 2000.
Summarize the information making comparisons where relevant.
1. Idea cho overview
Bài này trong overview mọi người cần hết sức lưu ý về con số tổng nha (290 million), mình cần nhắc đến tổng số lượng khách trong 2 năm là không đổi (còn con số 290 triệu thì mình để ở overview hay ở cuối body 2 đều được). Do 2 pie trong 2 năm nên vẫn như thường lệ, mình sẽ đưa ra trend và lớn nhất/ nhỏ nhất.
Trend: Thay đổi đáng kể mình thấy có obtaining information và borrowing and returning videos (không có ở 1991) vươn lên trở thành những lý do phổ biến trong năm 2000.
Lớn/nhỏ nhất: borrowing and returning là lớn nhất và vượt trội so với các mục đích còn lại.
2. Cách phân 2 body
Hai pie theo năm như này thì mình có thể phân 2 body theo từng năm (body 1 viết năm 1991 và body viết 2000), hoặc phân theo các mục đích đều được nhé mọi người. Chúng mình chọn cách phân body theo mục đích, đây cũng là cách viết nhất quán mà chúng mình dạy ở IELTS 1984 luôn.
3. Cách lần lượt tả từng câu
Khi đã phân body xong, nhiệm vụ tiếp theo là mình làm sao sắp xếp các thông tin trong 1 body cho mạch lạc, mượt mà. Chúng mình nhìn việc này rất đơn giản, mình xem nó như…line graph vậy. Mình sẽ lần lượt so các cấu phần trong năm 1991, và tả xu hướng của chúng năm 2000.
Body 1
Tả 2 cấu phần lớn nhất năm 1991 là borrow and return books và read newspaper or magazine và thêm 1 cấu phần nữa là study (nó cũng giảm như 2 cái kia)
(Câu 1) so sánh số liệu của borrow and return books và read newspaper or magazine năm 1991 (65% vs. 15%) => (Câu 2) cả 2 lý do này đều giảm 10% vào năm 2000. => (Câu 3) study cũng giảm, giảm từ 10% về còn 2%.
Body 2
Tả 2 cấu phần còn lại
(Câu 1) obtaining information tăng gấp đôi từ 10% lên 20% => (Câu 2) borrow or return videos không có ở năm 1991, nhưng chiếm 1/5 vào năm 2000
=> (Câu 3) cho số tổng 290 triệu lượt ghé thăm ở cả 2 năm.

The pie charts provide information about the primary reasons why people visited public libraries in the UK in 1991 and 2000.
Overall, libraries received the same number of visitors in both years, with borrowing and returning books being by far the most common purpose. However, a shift was observed in the way users utilized these facilities, as borrowing or returning videos, which was not listed as a reason in 1991, along with seeking information, emerged as significant reasons by the end of the period shown.
In 1991, nearly two-thirds of visits to British public libraries were to borrow or return books, which was considerably higher than the next most popular, reading newspapers or magazines, at only 15% of visits. Both of these categories witnessed a 10% drop by 2000, standing at 55% and 5% respectively. A similar downward trend was recorded in studying, as it accounted for 10% of all visits in 1991, but declined significantly to a mere 2% in 2000.
On the other hand, there was a corresponding rise in the popularity of obtaining information, with its share doubling from 10% to 20% in the latter year. Meanwhile, while no users borrowed videos from libraries in 1991, nearly one-fifth did so in 2000, making it the third most prevalent reason. Finally, in both years public libraries in the UK served the same number of 290 million visits. (229 words)
